Check-in, then find the registration committee, where you’ll receive your welcome swag bags. Take a moment to relax and unwind from your travels, and when you’re ready, let’s meet in the Coffee to Cocktails bar and officially kick off the reunion weekend!  We hope you bring photos and other memorabilia to share with family members.

After breakfast, let’s meet up in the lobby.  We’ll head out and explore Daytona Beach. There are many interesting things to explore. Of course there’s the renowned Daytona International Speedway, the Daytona Boardwalk, and the Daytona Lagoon – a really cool water park. There’s are a great little shopping district –  Historic Beach Street as well as few  historic sites to check out, such as the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Mary McLeod Bethune House, to name a few.  We’ll meet back at the hotel later for more family fun!

Saturday, August 6

12:00pm – 5:00pm    Family Fun Day at the Beach/Pool/Tiki Bar
6:00pm – 9:00pm     Dolphin View Seafood Dinner & River Cruise ($20 per person, all ages)

We are looking for an infusion of fresh ideas for future reunions, so we invite you to attend the Council of Elders. Bring your breakfast and your brilliant ideas to the meeting room, but come at about 9:30am to allow time for the business portion of the meeting to conclude. Today, we’ll be leisurely… hang out by the pool, have drinks and snacks at the Tiki bar, and frolic on the beach. We hear the Dolphin View Seafood Dinner and River cruise is on point! It cruises up the Intracoastal Waterway to Ponce Inlet and back.   Visit the website to read about the venue, and if you know you want to participate, we were able to secure 30 spots for dinner. Contact Carolyn McKinney at 650-243-7689 to claim spots for your family. Cost is not included in your dues and registration.
